The most well-known use of this ancient settlement, located on the edge of the Rano Kau crater, was as the stage for the famous Tangata Manu (Bird Man) cult, a unique tradition in Rapa Nui culture. Its history, stone architecture, and breathtaking ocean views make it a must-visit stop on any tour of the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every time we guide a group of tourists through Oro\u014bo, we feel the same excitement as the first time.
