Mikafè is a café and ice-cream shop right on the jetty at Caleta Hanga Roa. Its homemade ice cream, including local flavours such as Tipanie and Hai'a, has a strong following among locals, and from the outside tables you can often spot turtles in the harbour.
Coffee is Italian-style, from cortados to iced espresso, alongside pies, banana cake, brownies, fresh juices and hot chocolate. Divers, families and locals all drop by, and it makes an affordable treat.
